Construction Companies

The process of construction from conception to inception

Once the idea or notion of what to build is created, the customer contacts his or her construction company of choice. They meet and discuss the task at hand, and if they agree on things- a contract is signed to start the construction project.

The signing of the contract can be arduous and take a long time since many details have to be agreed upon, such as the cost of the project, exactly how it will be carried out, the estimated duration of constructing and many other details. But if both sides manage to reach an understanding and the company can supply what the customer is interested in, the project is launched.

Once the contract is signed, the construction company begins its preparations for the project, and this involves staff members and workers of different areas and fields. One or more architects will be involved, as will construction workers, accountants, lawyers if necessary and many others.

The company may have to use sub-contract companies in order to complete the project within the monetary and time frames. This means that another contract will have to be signed between the major construction company that originally took on the construction project and other smaller companies or workers that don't belong to the major company who will be contracted to work on the project. This of course depends on the scope of the project.

Finally, when everything is arranged, the implementation stage begins. The materials for the construction project are brought to the location of the intended building (sometimes via other moving companies or industries) and the builders can start constructing the building under the guide of construction manager and the architect or architects which will supervise the entire thing.

This is the mobilization stage, when work commences and people are actively working on the project. It is followed by the construction stage, when work is in motion and the construction project is already being built.

If there are no problems, the project is successfully completed until the deadline given in advance by the client and without using more money than what was agreed upon in the contract.

If there are any problems, the company has to provide explanations as to why the project is delayed or why excessive funds were used for it. But at last, when the construction is complete and after the work managers at the site approve that the construction is over, the company notifies the customer of this and this is the final stage of the handover to the customer.

In case the building is meant to be sold to someone else, whether he is a private person, a company or organization, or the state- the customer then deals with the buyer that wants to buy the building, but this is beyond the construction process.
